Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to the Store of Scope website, editorial newsletter, Store of Scope plugin, hosted MCP service, and related documentation. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use Store of Scope for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Eligibility
You must meet the configured minimum age and be legally able to enter a binding agreement. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
The service
Store of Scope helps users identify newsletters, organize workflow state, prepare reading scopes, and optionally create delivery or calendar artifacts. The editorial newsletter is a separate publication containing Store of Scope's own selection and commentary.
Features may differ by host, connector availability, account configuration, and release stage. Scheduled tasks are available only where the host supports them; manual mode is the fallback.
Accounts and connectors
You are responsible for the accounts, devices, and connector authorizations you use with Store of Scope. Keep them secure and revoke access you no longer want.
You must have the right to connect each account and to process the content selected for a workflow. Store of Scope does not grant rights to third-party content in your inbox.
Limited license
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Store of Scope for its intended personal or internal business purpose. Separate open-source licenses, if any, govern code distributed under those licenses.
Acceptable use
You may not use Store of Scope to violate law, infringe rights, access accounts without authorization, distribute malware, evade security or usage controls, send spam, harass others, or create misleading or unlawful communications.
You may not interfere with the service, probe it without permission, overload its infrastructure, reverse engineer non-public portions except where law permits, or use automated means to extract data beyond documented interfaces and reasonable use.
Your content and instructions
You retain your rights in content and instructions you provide. You authorize Store of Scope and its providers to process them only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy and your connector choices.
You are responsible for reviewing generated scopes, drafts, and proposed actions before relying on or approving them. Automated output can omit context or contain errors.
Third-party services
Store of Scope may interoperate with Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Codex, Noodle Seed hosting, Substack, and other infrastructure. Those services are independent and governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and fees.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their decisions, or changes they make. A connector or host may suspend access, alter an interface, or stop supporting a feature.
Intellectual property
Store of Scope, its branding, website, editorial content, and non-user materials are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or payment to improve and promote Store of Scope. Do not provide feedback that you are not permitted to share.
Changes to the service
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, including previews and integrations. We may establish reasonable limits to protect users, providers, and infrastructure. Where practical, we will provide notice of material changes that adversely affect active users.
Termination
You may stop using Store of Scope at any time by removing the plugin, disconnecting connectors, cancelling scheduled tasks, and deleting your workspace. Newsletter subscriptions are managed separately through the newsletter provider.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a violation, security risk, legal requirement, unpaid obligation, or material harm to the service or others. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Store of Scope is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent retention, error-free output, or that a generated scope is complete or suitable for a decision. Store of Scope is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and its affiliates, providers, and personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from Store of Scope.
The aggregate liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Store of Scope during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator and its affiliates, providers, and personnel from claims and expenses arising from your unlawful use, your content, your connector authorizations, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute must be brought in a court or forum with lawful jurisdiction unless applicable consumer law requires another forum or process.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Store of Scope changes. We will post the revised terms and update the effective date. If a material change requires consent, we will request it before the change applies. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
